Search in Arrow

You can use the search bar in the Arrow web app, Arrow Smart Extension pop-up, and mobile apps to find your passwords and data faster.

Our search experience across platforms checks primary information such as names of logins, Secure Notes, payments, personal info, and IDs. Our search also checks secondary information like passwords, website URLs, or the note field.

Tips for better search results

For more accurate search results, especially if you have multiple logins for the same website, use these tips:

1. If you’re a member of a Arrow professional plan and your account has the Spaces feature, make sure you’re searching in the right Space, where the login you’re searching for is saved.

2. To find a specific login, search for words in the Name first. Then search for words in other fields, such as Email and Note.
3. If you want to be able to search for a specific login with a specific word, add a special keyword to the Name. Make that keyword unique to that login and easy to remember.

   Example: Add the words “personal email” to the name of your login to make sure it appears at the top when you search “personal email.”

   • You can search for just one word in the special keywords you added

     Example: Just “personal” or “email”

   • Don’t search for a special keyword you added plus a keyword from a different field

     Example: Don’t mix a keyword from Name with a keyword from Note

   

4. If you can’t find a specific login, open the website for that login, open the Arrow extension pop-up, and look in the Suggested section of the Vault tab. Arrow recognizes the website you're on and can suggest the right login.
