Recreate your Arrow account and secure your data

The steps in this article are designed to help you recreate your account if you have a major problem that can't be solved another way. This process can solve problems like trouble logging in on a specific device or platform, inability to delete items in Arrow, issues syncing your Arrow apps, and more.

Only use these steps if you haven't found another solution to your problem. During this process, you'll secure your data temporarily in a new Arrow account, reset and recreate your original account, and then restore your data in your recreated account.

1. Move your Arrow data to a new account. The easiest way to move your data is to export to a secure DASH file and then import the file to the new account. If you're unable to export your data using a DASH file, you can move your data using secure sharing.

2. Check that all your items are visible in the new account.
3. Export your data from the new account using a secure DASH file. You'll be able to import the file to your original account after it's reset and recreated. If you prefer, you can also reset and recreate your old account first and then transfer your data back to the account using sharing.

4. Reset your original Arrow account

   Warning! This process erases all logins and data you've saved in that account. Complete this step only after making sure your data is visible in the new account.

5. Recreate your Arrow account using the login email address you used for your old account.

6. Import the secure DASH file to the account you just recreated or transfer your data back to the account using sharing.
