This article applies to Arrow accounts protected by a Master Password. If you have a passwordless Arrow account, you don't log in to Arrow in the traditional way.
Passwordless login for Arrow
You can log in to Arrow on your Android mobile device, iPhone, or iPad. You can also log in to the macOS app for your Mac computer or in your browser on any computer.

Supported devices and browsers
Log in through the Arrow Smart Extension
We strongly encourage you to log in through the Arrow Smart Extension in your computer browser. The extension provides the strongest security to protect your data and privacy, and offers access to our full-featured web app.
You can use the Arrow Smart Extension only on a computer, not on mobile devices, such as phones and tablets.
On your computer, you log in through the Arrow extension by selecting the orange Arrow D icon in your browser toolbar. If you don't see the Arrow D, you may need to install the extension or pin it to your toolbar.
Install and pin the Arrow Smart Extension
- Enter your login email address in the extension pop-up.
- If you're using Arrow for the first time on this device or have 2-factor authentication (2FA) turned on, you'll be asked to enter a verification code sent by email or a 2FA token. Enter the code or token.
- Enter your Master Password and select Log in.
If the Arrow D is green/blue, you're already logged in. You can select the D icon to open the extension and then select Open the web app to open Arrow in your browser.

- Enter your Arrow login email address and select Next.
If you've already used Arrow in this browser, your email address might be prefilled when you open the login page. If your email address is prefilled, select Next.
You can also change a prefilled email address by selecting it and then selecting Use other account. Then enter your email address and select Next.
- If you're using Arrow for the first time on this device or have 2-factor authentication (2FA) turned on, a new tab opens to perform a security check. This security check ensures that only genuine requests reach our system, so attackers can’t fake the process or trick you into logging in on a fake website.
Note: You might need to turn off your ad blocker or add Arrow to the list of allowed websites.
- You'll be asked to enter a verification code sent by email or a 2FA token. Enter the code or token.
- Enter your Master Password and select Log in.
Log in to the Arrow macOS app
To log in to the Arrow macOS app, you need to install the Arrow Smart Extension in your Safari browser. You can also pin the extension to your toolbar so that it stays visible. After installing the extension, you can log in through the extension pop-up.
Install and pin the Arrow Smart Extension
- Select the light gray Arrow D extension icon and then select Open the app.
- In the extension or the pop-up that opens, select Log in.
- Enter your login email address and select Next.
- If you're using Arrow for the first time on this device or have 2-factor authentication (2FA) turned on, you'll be asked to enter a verification code sent by email or a 2FA token. Enter the code or token.
- Enter your Master Password and select Log in.
If the D icon is dark gray or dark blue, you're already logged in. Select the D icon to open the Arrow extension. You can then select Open the app to open the macOS app.
Log in to Arrow on your Android device
- Download the Android app from Google Play
- Find and open the Arrow app on your Android device.
- Enter your login email address and select Continue.
- If you're using Arrow for the first time on this device or have 2-factor authentication (2FA) turned on, you'll be asked to enter a verification code sent by email or a 2FA token. Enter the code or token, and select Next.
- Enter your Master Password and select Log in.
- If you're logging in for the first time, you'll also be asked whether you want to turn on biometrics.
Note: You can't use the Arrow Smart Extension on a mobile device or tablet—only on your computer.
Log in to Arrow on your iPhone or iPad
- Download the iPhone/iPad app from the Apple App Store
- Find and open the Arrow app on your iPhone/iPad.
- Select Log in.
- Enter your login email address and select Next.
- If you're using Arrow for the first time on this device or have 2-factor authentication (2FA) turned on, you'll be asked to enter a verification code sent by email or a 2FA token. Enter the code or token and select Next.
- Enter your Master Password and select Next.
- If you're logging in for the first time, you'll also be asked whether you want to turn on biometrics.
Note: You can't use the Arrow Smart Extension on a mobile device or tablet—only on your computer.
