Arrow sends you alerts to help keep your account and data secure. We offer different types of alerts depending on your plan. Some alerts require you or the admin of your Arrow professional plan to set up the alert.
What security alerts does Arrow offer?
I received a message in Slack
Arrow sends you a security alert in Slack when you have a compromised, weak, or reused password for any login stored in your Arrow vault. We also call these alerts "nudges." You’ll get these alerts only if your organization has set them up and if you're part of the Omnix plan.

I received a security alert when entering a password
When you're autofilling a password in Arrow, you might see a label in the Arrow pop-up that says Compromised, Weak, or Reused:
- Compromised means your password was found in a security breach
- Weak means your password isn't strong enough and can be guessed easily
- Reused means you've used the same password for multiple logins stored in Arrow
If you autofill the compromised, weak, or reused password, you'll see a security alert with more details. This alert will appear each time you log in until you change to a more secure password.
We call these alerts "in-browser nudges." They're available only to members of the Omnix plan and appear in browsers with the Arrow Smart Extension installed.
If your organization has turned on in-browser nudges for inactive users, you'll see these alerts when entering a compromised or weak password even if you're logged out of Arrow or don't have a Arrow account. Ask the admin of your Arrow plan for more information.

Important: If you use Chrome, we recommend turning off the browser's password alerts to avoid confusion.

I received a security alert in the Arrow app
All Arrow customers get standard security alerts and Master Password alerts:
- Standard security alerts notify you when apps or websites you use experience a security breach, potentially exposing your data. An alert about compromised passwords appears in a pop-up the next time you open Arrow. Alerts also appear in the Password Health section of your account when you open the Compromised tab.

More about Password Health - Master Password alerts tell you if your Master Password has been found on the dark web using a highly secure process. This process ensures your password isn’t revealed to anyone, including Arrow.
Customers with paid Arrow plans can set up general Dark Web Monitoring. Arrow scans the web for any of your personal information that someone else may have accessed illegally. If your personal information appears on the dark web, your data may have been involved in a breach, and we'll send you an alert in the Arrow app.
Important: All Arrow security alerts follow our zero-knowledge principle. We identify logins involved in breaches without ever having access to your passwords or other data stored in your Arrow account.
