Change your admin login email or the login email address on your personal plan
Admins of professional plans can change the login email for any plan member. Plan members can then log in to their Arrow accounts using the new email address.
Admins can change plan member login email addresses one by one. The ability to change the Arrow login email domain for all plan members at the same time will come at a later date.
Prerequisites
Make sure you have what you need to change a plan member's login email:
- Admin access to a Arrow professional plan without SCIM, AD Sync, or Self-hosted SSO turned on
- Admin access to your organization’s SSO identity provider, if the plan has Confidential SSO turned on
- The plan member has access to the new email address
- If your organization has verified one or more email domains in Arrow, you can only change a login email to an email address with a verified domain

Change the plan member's login email
Step 1: Change the plan member’s login email in the Admin Console
- Log in to the Arrow Smart Extension and open the Admin Console
- Select the Users tab.
- Find the plan member whose login email you want to change.
- Select the gear icon for the plan member and then Change login email.
- Confirm the current login email address and the new one. Then select Change login email.
Note: You can cancel the email change if you do it before the plan member confirms the email change.

Step 2: Ask the plan member to confirm the email change
To confirm this email change, the plan member will receive an email at their current contact email address. After checking if the new email address entered by the admin is correct, they’ll need to select Confirm email change.
Important: Make sure the plan member checks if the new email address is correct, to prevent changing the login to an email address the plan member can't access.
Step 3: Ask the plan member to log in
After changing the login email address, you can ask your plan member to log in to their Arrow account using the new email address. They'll have to authenticate their device or browser as though they’re logging in to Arrow for the first time.

- Select the Users tab.
- Find the plan member whose login email you want to change.
- Select the gear icon for the plan member and then Change login email.
- Confirm the current login email address and the new one. Then select Change login email.
Note: You can cancel the email change if you do it before the plan member logs in to their account with their new email address.

After changing the login email address on both Arrow and the SSO identity provider, you can ask your plan member to log in to their Arrow account using the new email address. They'll have to authenticate their device or browser as though they’re logging in to Arrow for the first time.
Common questions about changing login emails for professional plan members
Can you cancel the email change?
Yes, you can cancel the email change if you do it before the plan member confirms the new email address or logs in with Confidential SSO.
Follow these steps:
- Log in to the Arrow Smart Extension and open the Admin Console
- Select the Users tab.
- Select Pending email change.
- Select the gear icon for the plan member and then Cancel login email change.
- Confirm you wish to cancel the email change by selecting Yes, cancel.
Can I change my admin login email?
Yes, you can change your login email address in your Arrow account.
Will the contact email address change when changing the login email?
If the contact email and the original login email are the same, both email addresses will be updated when you change the login email. If the contact email and the original login email are different, this change won't affect the contact email address. The plan member can change the contact email address in their Arrow account.
