After you have Arrow set up on your iPad, you can use Arrow with the browser you choose. You don’t use an extension on an iPad. Everything you need is contained in the Arrow app on your iPad.
Get started with Arrow on the iPad
To have Arrow available to Chrome while browsing the internet, the default browser doesn't need to be changed. You only need to change the default password manager to Arrow.
Set Arrow as the default password manager
- Open System Settings. Find settings on your iPad on the Apple website
- Select Passwords in the left menu. Enter your iPad passcode or use Touch ID if prompted.
- Select Password Options at the top of the right panel.
- On the Password Options screen, turn on AutoFill Passwords and Passkeys.
- In the Use passwords and passkeys from section, select Arrow. Clear any other checkmarks for other choices.
Download and set Google Chrome as your default browser
If you want Chrome to open when you select Go to website from a login in Arrow, you can set Chrome as your default browser. If you change your default browser to Chrome, Chrome will also be used for all other apps on the device.
Download and install the Google Chrome app
- Set Chrome as your default browser:
- Open System Settings. Find settings on your iPad on the Apple website
- Scroll down to Chrome in the left menu.
- Select Default Browser App.
- Select Chrome.
Use Autofill on your iPad
No Arrow D icons appear in form fields when you log in to a website on your iPad. When you click in a field, you’ll see your saved login information above the iPad keyboard. Select the login to autofill the fields.
Select the key icon next to the login information to open your Arrow vault.
