When you import a CSV file and assign some items to an existing shared Collection, Arrow creates a new, non-shared Collection with those items instead of adding them to the shared one.
This is expected behavior and is in place as a security measure to avoid unintentionally sharing sensitive items with other members.
Workaround:
- After the import, go to the web app and open the original shared Collection.
- Select Add items to the collection.
- Select the items that were imported that you want to be part of this shared Collection.
- After the correct items are added, you can delete the duplicate, non-shared Collection.
Example:
Step 1: On the import page, the items are assigned to the EMEA Collections, which are shared.
Step 2: Completed import and the duplicated Collection with the same name.
