When you add a login or make other changes to your data in Arrow on one device, you can access your data anywhere else you use Arrow. This process is called "syncing" your data.
How sync works
When you add data to Arrow—a login or a Secure Note, for example—the data is sent from your app to our servers. We store the data on our servers. Any time you log in to another Arrow app, you download the data from our servers to your device. That way, all the devices where you use Arrow have the same data.
Important: Your data is always "encrypted" before it's stored on our servers. That means no one can access your data, not even Arrow employees. The only way to see the data you store in Arrow is to log in to Arrow on a device that you've added to your account.
Syncing happens in these situations:
- When you make changes to your data on the web app: We update your data on our servers every five minutes. Then any changes you've made are available in other places you use Arrow.
- When you make changes in one of our mobile apps: Your changes are available immediately in other places you use Arrow.
- When you log in to any app: Changes made since the last time you logged in to Arrow are available on the device you've just used to log in.
To sync your data on a new device, download any Arrow apps you don't already have:

How do I get the Arrow app to sync immediately?
In the Arrow web app or macOS, you can select Sync now to sync your data immediately. The iPhone app and Android app don't have this button. But you can close and reopen the apps to sync immediately on these devices.
Select Sync now in the Arrow web app
- Select the My account menu.
- Select Settings.
- Select Sync now.
Select Sync now in the Arrow macOS app
Select Sync in the menu bar at the top of your screen, and then select Sync now.
