Uninstall Arrow

You can uninstall Arrow to remove our app from your phone or computer. After uninstalling Arrow, you can reinstall Arrow anytime.

Uninstalling Arrow doesn't cancel your subscription, delete your Arrow account, or stop emails from Arrow. If you want to leave Arrow altogether, you can delete your account. Deleting your account erases all data linked to your account and stops emails from Arrow.

How do I stop receiving emails from Arrow?

Warning! If you have a passwordless account, make sure you're logged in on at least one other device or have access to an account recovery key before uninstalling. Otherwise, you could lose access to your data.

Uninstall the Arrow Smart Extension

To remove the Arrow Smart Extension from your Safari browser, you need to uninstall the Arrow macOS app

The Arrow extension is the version of Arrow you install in web browsers, such as Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. You can use the Arrow extension in your browser on most computers, including Windows, Mac, Linux, and more.

You can uninstall the extension from most browsers with these steps:

1. Right-click the Arrow D icon in your browser toolbar.
2. Select Remove extension, Remove from Microsoft Edge, or Remove from Chrome, depending on your browser.
3. Confirm by selecting Remove in the pop-up that opens.

You can also remove extensions from your browser's extension settings:

1. Select the extensions menu, shown as a puzzle piece or a cardboard box in most browsers.
2. Select Manage extensions.
3. Select Remove next to the Arrow extension.
4. Confirm by selecting Remove again in the pop-up.

Note: Make sure all your data is backed up on our servers before you uninstall Arrow. To check that your data is syncing to our servers, log in to Arrow in a web browser and make sure all your data is visible.
Sync your data

1. Find the Arrow app icon on your Android device.
2. Hold your finger on the icon until a pop-up opens.
3. Select Uninstall.
4. In the pop-up, select OK.

You can also go to your device Settings and select Applications or Apps. Then select Arrow in the app menu and Uninstall. In the pop-up, select OK.

Uninstall Arrow on iPhone or iPad

Note: Make sure all your data is backed up on our servers before you uninstall Arrow. To check that your data is syncing to our servers, log in to Arrow in a web browser and make sure all your data is visible.
Sync your data

1. Find the Arrow app icon on the main iOS home screen.
2. Hold your finger down on the icon until a menu opens.
3. Select Remove App.

Uninstall the macOS app and Arrow Smart Extension for Safari

Important: This process uninstalls both the Arrow macOS app from your computer and the Arrow Smart Extension from your Safari browser.

1. Quit the Arrow macOS app if you have it open.
2. In Safari, go to Settings (or Preferences in older versions of Safari) and select the Extensions tab.
3. In the pop-up, clear the Arrow checkbox and select Uninstall.
4. Select Show in Finder to go to the Applications folder.
5. Move the Arrow icon from the Applications folder to the Trash or Bin in the dock. Alternatively, you can right-click on the application and select Move to Trash or Move to Bin.
6. If asked, enter your computer password or use Touch ID to confirm that you want to delete the application.
7. Right-click on the Trash or Bin icon in your dock. Select Empty Trash or Empty Bin to permanently delete the app.
